Do you know what Ebook Resale Rights represent? You probably think you can figure it out on your own just by interpreting those three words. However, there is more to these words than meets the eye. You would think that if you have resale rights that is it. Wrong, there are different types of resale rights.

However, be sure to read the fine print to know if you can choose any price you want, if there is a minimum or fixed price or if you can give it away free. You will want these rights, so that you can give or resell the ebook to whoever wants to read the information it contains.

The second kind of resale rights called ebook Master Resale Rights are the same as the first type with the additional right to sell to your buyers the right for them to also resell the book. With this type of contract, you are usually selling to two types of buyers: those who just want to read the book and those who want to make money by reselling it.

When you buy these rights, you may sell to only one of these types of buyers. However, if you want to sell to both types of buyers, you might want to advertise separately. You will want to send the correct marketing message to each specific type of buyer.

The third type of Ebook Resell Rights you need to be aware of are the White Label/Private Label Rights or PLR for short. These rights are the strongest you can buy. You will usually be given the book or books in a Word .doc format with the right to change anything you want. You can even put your own name on it and market it as a hard-copy work. You can re-brand it and resell it for any price you want.
